I got tired of subscription trackers that look like spreadsheets.
I wanted something that made it easy to see what I was paying for, what was coming up next, and how much those small monthly payments added up to over a year. But I also wanted an app I would actually enjoy opening.
So I built DueCat.
Why I built it
Subscriptions are easy to forget. A few dollars here, another renewal there, and suddenly you are paying for things you barely use.
DueCat started with a simple idea: make recurring payments easier to see, understand, and remember. No complicated setup, no spreadsheet feeling, and no unnecessary features getting in the way.

I did not want DueCat to feel like another financial dashboard. You can choose from curated background artwork or use your own image to give the app a more personal look. Custom categories and lists help you organize subscriptions in a way that makes sense to you.
The visual side is not the whole point, but it matters. An app you enjoy opening is an app you are more likely to keep up to date.

DueCat is part of my Built with AI journey. AI helped me turn the idea into a working app, but the goal was never to add AI just for the sake of it.
